These are the words our residents use to describe team members who work at Bruceville Point. The overlap in words and feelings reflects a shared truth: people here matter to one another.
Beautiful buildings and generous benefits do not, on their own, create a great place to live or work. A beautiful building says, “We want you to feel comfortable here.” A thoughtful benefits package says, “We see you and value your contributions.” At Bruceville Point, what truly sets us apart is the way residents and team members care for one another.
Relationships are the foundation of our community, and they extend beyond the traditional lines of care. For example, here Susan plays a round of pool with Andrew.
Our residents often speak about the difference that support makes. “I just can’t say enough about the caregivers,” Susan, a resident, raved. “They’re not just doing a job. They’re friendly, they’re kind, they really care. It’s a happy place.”
And our team members feel the same way. “I look forward to seeing the residents every night,” Amanda, our lead server, said. “It’s work, but it’s not work sometimes because it’s like talking to your family.”
Smiles abound in the dining room as people gather to share their stories along with meals. Amanda serves meals to a group of residents who are always laughing at their self-declared “happy table.”
True connections and honest relationships are the heart of what we do. They are both our purpose and our reward. “The Tenfold name comes from a quote: ‘Each gives to each, and like the star, gets back its gift in tenfold pay.’ This sums up how we work,” explained Annie Stauber, our Human Resources Generalist. “There’s a genuine sense that people are not just doing their jobs, but actively investing in each other’s well-being and success. That mindset creates a culture of trust, connection, and shared purpose.”

Residents feel that sense of family every day. “It feels like my family,” Barbara, a resident from the day Bruceville Point opened, said of the community here. It’s an honor our team members don’t take lightly. “I have this feeling that I’m doing something amazing for the residents,” Allison, a Care Partner, shared.
Here, everyday moments matter. A smile in the hallway, a helpful gesture, or the feeling of truly being seen can soften a hard day. This a place where we have time to linger over a cup of coffee or a jigsaw puzzle to get to know someone. It’s a place where fun and meaning collide. It’s a place where the unexpected is confronted with comfort and compassion.
There is no such thing as a small job at Bruceville Point. Every resident and every team member contributes to our shared life. It’s not a place where you clock in to get hours. You show up to find connection and do something meaningful.
