Not all senior living communities are the same, of course, but if you would like to take a look at the freedom, activities and social interactions offered at Tenfold’s Bruceville Point, we invite you for a visit.

Senior Living Dining That’s on Par with Fine Restaurants
You’ll discover several distinctive features that set us apart at Bruceville Point. We ardently believe that providing opportunities to engage and connect with others is a strong contributor to good health.
We designed our community to support our residents to live as independently as possible. In fact, our philosophy is to provide the highest level of amenities and services and then step out of the way and let our residents create the lifestyle they desire.
An example of this is our senior living dining program. We think one of the most enjoyable elements in life is sharing a meal with friends. So, when we designed our food service, we placed a priority on the experience.
We knew we wanted to offer excellent and nutritious food, but also give our residents the option of choices to decide where and what to eat based on what sounds good or what they might be in the mood for – just as we do ourselves.
We hired a chef to provide a wide selection of menu options and then took it a step further and designed three separate dining venues to provide our residents with variety.
Take a moment to learn more about dining options at Bruceville Point:
The Bistro
Many of our residents kick-start their day here with coffee and a quick catch up with friends. It may be the chosen setting for a light lunch on the patio and also makes a great place to have a glass of wine with family before they join you for dinner. The Bistro provides the perfect backdrop for our senior living dining program that includes our daily Happy Hour with cocktails, mocktails and complimentary snacks.
Stone Lakes Café
A favorite among residents, this California-casual dining experience sets the right mood for any time of day. Ready for a full breakfast or prefer the lighter choice of a Fresh Fruit & Yogurt Parfait? We have you covered. Or enjoy the lunch combo of soup and salad and add half a sandwich if you’re hungry.
A peek at the menu and you’ll find out why the café is so popular with our residents. Order from favorites like a Classic Caesar Salad, Grilled Steak Burrito Bowl or Italian Flatbread. You can also enjoy the Tenfold Burger, Seafood Salad Wrap or design your own sandwich.
The Cypress Room
When you’re in the mood for an elegant white-tablecloth dinner, you’ll find it here. For special occasions or just when you want to enjoy the seasonally inspired weekly menu featuring market-fresh ingredients, you’ll love the farm-to-table meals.
The most formal of our senior living dining options, try our Grilled Lemon Dill Salmon, Crusted Herbed Chicken Breast, Shrimp Scampi or Ratatouille on Creamy Goat Cheese Polenta. Pair any choice with jasmine rice, potatoes or seasonal vegetables. Just remember to save room for dessert.

The Role Senior Living Dining Can Play in a Fulfilling Life
There was a time when communities considered senior living dining mostly for their nutritional value. Nourishment is still important because our dietary requirements do change as we grow older and the right foods can influence our health.
Research has identified certain diets that may lower blood pressure or delay symptoms of dementia. Other benefits can include helping to maintain weight and preventing some diseases such as osteoporosis, high blood pressure, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and certain cancers.
While getting the right nutrients to fuel our bodies is essential, there is much value in the social aspect of the senior living dining experience. Wherever our residents choose to dine, whether it’s at our fabulous restaurants or inviting their family and friends to gather in one of our outdoor spaces for a BBQ, they always have a choice.
Dining programs that encourage sharing a meal with family or friends provide the perfect opportunity to connect and interact. Studies have shown that when we eat with others, we tend to eat better – and report feeling happier and more engaged.
Many older adults express fear of losing their voice if they move to a community but our senior living dining at Bruceville Point is merely another example of how we promote the independence of our residents.
