Pat Smith, Resident Council President
Since moving into Bruceville Point on opening day, June 7, 2021, Pat Smith has been a steady and welcoming presence within the community. Inspired by a desire to support resident relationships on a broader scale, she stepped into the role of Resident Council President to help ensure everyone feels informed, included, and encouraged to participate. She defines her role simply and thoughtfully: keeping residents aware of the many opportunities, resources, and activities available to them.
Beyond her leadership role, she is a familiar face at many activities and gatherings, known for making others feel welcome through genuine conversation and connection. Drawing from 20 years as a nurse specializing in geriatrics, she brings empathy, understanding, and a deep respect for seniors into everything she does. In collaboration with the Resident Council, she also helps coordinate the staff appreciation fund: another meaningful way she gives back and strengthens the sense of community at Bruceville Point.
